Rinoa Heartilly = Faye Wong?? :o
Could the gorgeous fictional character "Rinoa Heartilly" be based off the equally sexy pop sensation of the orient, Faye Wong? I'm betting so.
OK, so I bet you're getting sick of Rinoa shit flooding up the Rubbish section of my page, huh? Well, I'm not. Asshole! Actually; I assume this'll be the last one for a while. While looking for more information on the elusive 'Faye Wong', whom I throughly enjoyed in the trax; Eyes On Me, Everything & Summer Of Love (Which is an ironic title; considering Faye was born pretty much two years after the ACTUAL Summer 'O' Love), I came across a few of her pictures. I've had a few on my hardrive for a while; but then, it clicked like my gun at Avril Lavinge's head. As soon as I saw this pic, as well as a comment from my friend Matty; I thought 'OK, this is Rinoa or something'. Looking at another, I uncovered more evidence; They're the same chick. Well, not REALLY, but Rinoa Heartilly is TOTALLY based on Faye Wong. Proof? Proof. Here we are...
1. Obviously, their hair is both black (On account of their asian-ness), yeah, that isn't unusual. But look closely; Both have brown highlights.
2. Thin cheeks. Actually, besides the lips; Rinoa and Faye virtually have identical facial features (Look closely)
3. Both have the parted hair, with the part off in this direction --> \
4. Eyebrows are VERY SIMILAR, in shape, width, and color.
5. Eyes- very very similar. Both very sexy with the brown pupil. Of course 'Asian' eyes.
6. Lips, very similar in color. The only real difference is Faye's are a bit poutier.
If she were wearing a black tank-top with a blue duster, you couldn't tell the difference..
More Similarities
-Both Rinoa and Faye have musical talent! Faye is one of the orient's biggest pop-stars, and Rinoa is the daughter of Julia, the mysterious pop-singer in FF8.
-Both are asian. Duh. (Unless your name happens to be JAMES (Not me, the other guy....haha) and you refuse to go with this fact- James In Denial
-Laguna, who has something to do with Julia, had a limitbreak called 'Desperado', which was actually the 1973 Eagles smash-song "Desperado". The connection? Faye is a singer- Julia is a singer- The Eagles are a rock-group- Rinoa is Julia's daughter OMG
-Finally, the question you ask; Why would SquareSoft use a pop-singer for their character model on FFVIII? Because; Faye was the singer for the FFVIII theme song "Eyes On Me", Faye is very pretty, Faye does not have a distorted sense of chestal (It isn't a word, blow me) propotion unlike that SLUT Tifa Lockheart, and they probably didn't want to risk a possible law-suit from angry feminists (Whom I frequently approach on the streets asking for sexual favors...hey it's amusing)
